X-Rite Announces ColorDesigner PLUS 3.0 for Retail Paint

Includes support for all dispensing systems from one software application for ease of use and new automatic system update capabilities to ensure that the software is always up-to-date.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., September 12, 2016 – X-Rite Incorporated, a global leader in color science and technology, and its subsidiary Pantone LLC, today announced the newest version of its industry leading retail paint color matching software, ColorDesigner® PLUS version 3.0. Paint departments in large retail brands and independent paint and hardware retailers use ColorDesigner PLUS in conjunction with an X-Rite MatchRite iVue non-contact spectrophotometer or an X-Rite Ci61 handheld instrument to make paint selection and mixing simple, fast, and accurate. The latest updates to ColorDesigner PLUS 3.0 provide improved Color Lookup, support for all color dispensing systems and automatic system updates.

• Automatic system updates delivered through a cloud-based infrastructure, allow retailers to have confidence that their software is always up-to-date across the entire store network.
