Are either of the following symptoms present on your PC?
[1] SW randomly crashes with the message "Access Violation 0x2".
[2] i5 or i7 instrument randomly initiates readings on its own.
If either of the above symptoms are present it is likely that your PC either has a dual core processor (or multiple processors) or is hyperthreaded - - or both. ColoriMatch (iQC) was not written to support multiple processors. As such when a process thread is passed from one CPU to the other it may become corrupt and crash the system. The resolution is to force the software to use one and only one thread (or only one processor). This can generally be achieved by making changes in BIOS. You may wish to involve your IT staff to resolve this issue.
