The eXact 2 firmware release 1.5.212 supports all eXact 2 models and introduces the following improvements: 

This update includes:

• Refinement to the Jobs Tool, including G7, autopatch recognition, etc.
  • Fixed GRACoL 2006 job tolerances
  • Fixed Color Bar Crash in G7 Tool
  • Implement Pass/Fail icons for all Job Types
  • Updated Pass/Fail graphics in Job Summary view 
  • Add Guidance Caret to Black Tints Summary view, and fixed K guidance
  • Scan Speed Improvement
    
    
• Dynamic Framerate for Video Targeting improving overall performance and responsiveness
  • This automatically adjusts the video targeting framerate to keep the device stabile in hot environments or under heavy use
    
    
• Displays recipes for PantoneLIVE standards on eXact 2 device
  •  Libraries need to be redownloaded to your device to see the recipes.
  • Libraries transferred via eXact 2 Suite (v 1.0.8) will transfer with recipes
  • To view the recipe, click the (i) information button next to the standard, and the recipe will be under "Notes"

  • The BestMatch graph in the Density Tool has been fixed to auto-update if you manually change the active filter (Auto, C, M, Y)
  • Required device calibration after Polarizer/Filter Glass change

  • Improved threading for better device stability

• Performance Tips:
  • X-Rite recommends to reduce the Video Targeting Timeout to 15 seconds to improve overall device performance. To change this, go to "Device Settings", then "Power Settings", then "Targeting Timeout"
