IntelliTrax - Setting the Default Static IP Address in your Computer

Setting up your computer to communicate using the default static cross-over cable with the IntelliTrax hardware

1.  Right click on My Network Place (on Windows Desktop) and choose properties from the menu.  The following window should appear.

2.  Right click on Local Area Connection and choose properties from the menu.  The following window should appear.

3.  Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then click the properties button.  The following window should appear.

4.  Click on the radio button for "Use the following IP address:" and type in the following values:

• IP Address: 172.16.1.1
• Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
• Default Gateway:

The following window should look like the following:

5.  Click on OK then OK again.
