B or G appears on exposure of film
What is the B, G or dot on the film next to step 13?Dot or Letter Exposed Next to Step 13The X-Rite Model 396 sensitometer is the first model to expose the film type onto the control strip. There will be a "B" or "G" exposed next to steps 13 or 14.
It is possible that this label is slightly overexposed and that will result in a black dot instead of a recognizable letter. Do not be alarmed as the only overexposure is the letter, not the 21-step QC pattern.
