Printer QA - Higher DeltaE than specified 'PASS' in the report

Question: I generated a QA report based on the UGRA/FOGRA Media Wedge verification according to ISO 12647-7 tolerances for proof printing The Max Delta E for overall colors resulted in a value of of 6.28 and it has 'PASS'ed  in the report. However the threshold is Delta E = 6. Is this a bug in the report generation?

Answer: No, this is not a bug. The Delta E tolerances in the 12647-7 specification are single digits (e.g. 6, not 6.0). So, every value below 6.5 will 'PASS' in the verification report. This is also true for the other tolerances.
