Edge of Sheet Problems

| Problem: | When performing a color bar recognition, the scanning head seems to be searching for the color bar off the edge of the sheet at one or both ends. |
| Solution: | Occasionally, the black portion of the track becomes covered with enough spray powder and/or paper dust to fool the scanning head into thinking it found the edge of the press sheet when in fact it is scanning the track. Should this happen, thoroughly wipe the track clean (using a dry rag is fine). Afterwards, perform a track-calibration. In the software, select the option "Instrument" / "Scanning" / "Calibrate Track", from the menu. This should allow you to start scanning accurately, once again. |
