Malicious Software Error Installing XRD to Mac OS x 10.15 and OS11
Customers fail to install XRD 3.0.128 with this message: "XRD Manager.pkg can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information."Please try the following:Download and save X-Rite Device Services 3.0.128 to a location on your computer (i.e., Desktop, Downloads) using the following link:
https://www.xrite.com/service-support/downloads/x/x-rite_device_services_v3_0_128_mac
Locate the downloaded “XRDManager_v3.0.128.pkg” and then right-click (or control+click) on the PKG and choose “Open”, “Open”, and “Continue” to launch the installer.
