The IntelliTrax instrument can be put into a configuration mode by moving the head away from the station and performing a button sequence to achieve the desired function. The button sequences are defined below but are all common in the fact that they are started and completed by a pair of 4 second button holds.
Example sequence:
Move the read head about 100mm away from the station
Press and hold the button for at least four seconds
The instrument will recognize a configuration state request is being made and will change the LED status to a Green 20% duty cycle to alert that a command may be entered
Within the next 10 seconds, enter between 1 and 4, short (Less than two seconds) button presses to tell the instrument which command to perform
The instrument will update the LED status with each button pressed, First to 80% Green Duty Cycle, then 80% Orange Duty Cycle, then 80% Red Duty Cycle, and finally 80% Green Duty Cycle and 20% Orange Duty Cycle
Press and hold the button for four seconds to signify that the command entry is complete
The instrument will perform the command and change the LED status to Solid Red if an error occurred or the output of the command as defined by the LED status table if no error occurs. The LED status will return to the normal non-configuration mode status after 10 seconds
Unplug the power to the station for at least 5 seconds then plug power back in
