How is ColorBook different from ColorBook and Viewer?
ColorBook extends available PantoneLIVE colors to Adobe Illustrator as swatches, allowing application of specific, packaging-relevant colors to elements of the package design. PantoneLIVE ColorBook and Viewer includes the same functionality, but adds a Viewer window which renders the design color-accurately, with several capabilities:
Accurate spot color rendering through the full tone scale (from 1% to 100%)
Spot-color overprint simulation to show how ink color builds will appear in the final package
Optional adjustment of tone curves for spot colors to show more realistic results
Use of applied ICC profiles to render CMYK elements correctly
