The eXact 2 firmware release 1.4.152 supports all eXact 2 models and introduces the following improvements:
- BestMatch Graph Function has been reactivated
- Fixed BestMatch Delta Density calculation improperly displaying zero "0" on summary view
- Added TVI function to the Density Tool
- Fixed Japan Color Job TVI target
- Fixed a bug where the Targeting Screen was missing when using iQC Software
- Best Match Setting now properly shows Concentration % for Flexo and Gravure, in Jobs
- Fixes Jobs failing to import during FW Update process
- G7:
- Fixed G7 Gray Balance function screen layout issue
- Added verbal guidance to G7 results ("too red", "too green", "too light", "too dark", for example)
- Measurement values will display purple if the data is calculated with SCCA compensation, consistent with the purple substrate compensation icon on the paper measurement screen
- Fixed auto-calibration failure on powered dock when powering up
- Fixed a bug where Pantone Solid Coated library did not show L*a*b* data for M0, M2 and M3, even though they were included in the library and display correctly in eXact 2 Suite
Known Issue with 1.4.152
- When using the Density Tool in BestMatch the graph will not auto-update if you manually change the active filter (Auto, C, M, Y)
- Temporary workaround is to return to the function then reselect the graph for the displayed data to update to the active filter
Performance Tip: X-Rite recommends to reduce the Video Targeting Timeout to 15 seconds to improve overall device performance. To change this, go to "Device Settings", then "Power Settings", then "Targeting Timeout"
