Notes:
We recommend having the latest TAC7 Firmware version installed before using PANTORA. Firmware upgrades are done with the TAC7 Diagnostics tool. Both firmware and diagnostics tool can be downloaded here here.
To use PANTORA’s connectivity feature, it is recommended to update the respective device driver and Firmware to the latest version. Please find the corresponding downloads at Ci7XX0, MetaVue, and MA-T12.
Pantora 2024.1 contains the following new features and improvements:
- Connect
- Untethered measurement with MA-T12: New Import tab to browse and select measurements on connected device to download for AxF processing
- Use r45as45 geometry image as preview for MA-T12 measurements
- Connect & TAC7
- Added “Desaturate Effect Pigments” option to CPA2 processing to remove chromatic aberration artifacts for paints known to have uncolored flakes.
- Browser: Export improvements
- glTF: Export to single binary file (.glb)
- glTF: Added support for additional glTF extensions: KHR_materials_anisotropy and KHR_materials_transmission
- MDL: Added support for AxF 1.9 (Sheen)
- MDL: Added “Color Format” output option and removed “Experimental” label
- Improved error and log messages

- Numerical parameter input supports fine grained control when Shift key is held down
- New Compare tab [preview]
- Enable intuitive and in-depth comparison of AxF materials with attached measurements
- Various visualization options for color and texture measurement data comparison
