The IntelliTrax ICC system allows you to set an acceptable density tolerance across the sheet to be used when creating a press profile. This is a very important feature. If a profile is built from a press sheet in which the densities vary, the profile will not yield acceptable results.
The following sequence of events will allow you to set or change this tolerance.
From the main application screen, click the Editor button
Enter your password and click Submit Password
If an information screen appears, click OK
Click the Project Template button
Click on a template name to highlight it
Click the Edit button
Click the Profiling . . . button
Click a profile target name to highlight it
Click the Next button, on some systems this may be labeled as "Profile Settings"
Select the "System Options" Tab
Here you will find the density tolerance. The default tolerance is 0.10, this value may be changed to any value you desire. Please note that the validity of your profile is directly dependant upon this setting, the smaller the tolerance the better your result will be.
You will also find two check boxes on this page. "Disable profile button unless tolerance" and "Warn user when profile is out of range". Under normal circumstances these should both be checked. A profile should never be built from a sheet that is out of tolerance.
