This can happen if the lamp(#880-07) is near minimal output limits or if the lamp has just been changed and has not been reset. Do not reset unless the lamp to try to correct Unless the lamp has just been changed.
To check the lamp settings use the "Checking Lamp and Motor Speed" details. Lamps that fall below 93% are recommended to be replaced. While the unit may still function you will struggle with calibration and repeaded readings
until you change the lamp.
-Also ensure that you are using the correct X-rite power supply. A universal power supply needs to deliver 12 volts, @ 700ma.
