To update your firmware, download and extract the firmware installer. Connect your Spectroscan directly to your PC and launch Download Utility. You will see your instruments, serial number and software release, or firmware version. If you need to update your firmware, click on the Software button and browse to the extracted firmware installer. Do not close Download Utility or disconnect the instrument until the firmware update is complete.
