530 Does not Communicate with Web Edition
Following a factory reset, the 530 no longer will communicate with the Web Edition of X-RiteColor Master. During this reset, the 530 is returned to the legacy "RCI" command protocol.
For communications with the browser plug-in, the newer "ICP" protocol is required. From the instrument's main menu, access "Configuration" then "Serial Port". In this section ensure that BAUD is set to 9,600 and that the "ICP" protocol is enabled. Also make sure that Auto XMT is set to either "Off" or "On w/ Status".
