Connecting a CAPSURE instrument to an Apple iOS device
Prepare the CAPSURE device
Turn the CAPSURE power on
Follow the on screen instructions to calibrate the CAPSURE.
On the initial power ON the CAPSURE Bluetooth will be turned off.
Navigate to the CAPSURE settings screen and select "Bluetooth ON". A grey bluetooth symbol will appear in the top left corner of the CAPSURE screen. Ensure the CAPSURE Bluetooth is switched on before proceeding
The CAPSURE remembers the last state of the Bluetooth and will restart in this state when the power is switched On/Off.
Connecting to an Apple iOS device
Switch on the iPhone/Pad/iPod.
Enter the settings menu.
Select Bluetooth.
Turn Bluetooth ON.
The iOS device will now scan the area for available Bluetooth devices. All available Bluetooth devices with Apple connectivity will be listed here.
The CAPSURE device should now appear on the iOS device screen as an available Bluetooth device. The CAPSURE will be listed as RM200 #XXXX and it should be shown in black text.
Select the CAPSURE RM200 #xxxx to pair to the iOS device.
The i0S device should initiate paring. This may take up to 20 seconds.
Once the pairing process is complete the RM200 #XXXX text will turn blue and "connected" will be displayed next to the device name. On the CAPSURE the Bluetooth symbol will change color from Grey to Blue.
The Apple App can now be started.
Notes for iOS connections
You can only connect with one iOS device at a time
To connect with another device you must first disconnect from the connected device
