General File Transfer Error Installing Upgrade
When installing the Color iControl upgrade, I receive a "General file transfer" error message. How can I get past this?: A CrypKey file is causing this error. The original version of CrypKey does not always release files so they can be upgraded.
Try rebooting and reinstalling the software.
If this does not fix the problem, try the following:

Locate in your root directory: "C:\Program Files\GretagMacbeth\Common Files\Control".

Within this folder double-click the file called: "Remove CrypKey.bat”. This is a DOS batch file that changes the attributes of the files so they can be deleted and then deletes the file.

You will be asked to reboot your computer and install the software. Reinstalling will install the new CrypKey files that can be upgraded.
