X-RiteColor Master will not download to SP series instrument.

Standards can be created in X-RiteColor Master using both SPIN data and SPEX data, SPIN only data, or SPEX only data. In the case of SPIN only data or SPEX only data it is important to know that you will encounter a download issue with a SP series instrument. The SP measures both SPIN and SPEX simultanenously. Therefore when downloading SPIN only or SPEX only data to this instrument the software will lock up.

To resolve this issue when working with an SP series instrument be sure to provide both SPIN and SPEX data when creating standards.
