About the Presenters

David Zwang is the principal consultant of Zwang & Company, a firm specializing in process analysis, and strategic development of firms in the fields of information and product printing, packaging, and publishing across the globe. His expertise in production optimization, strategic business planning, market analysis, and related and has transformed many businesses.

 

He began in the graphic arts as a commercial photographer in the late 60’s and has since founded several premedia and printing operations. His experience includes expertise in Cross Media Publishing, with an extensive background in Digital, Offset, Flexo, and Gravure printing processes.

 

Since the early 90’s he has consulted with many in the industry on a wide variety of issues. Projects include global production and data management solutions; book, publishing and packaging technologies and processes; remote production systems development; color management and process collaboration systems. He has developed many industry training courses and written countless articles for trade publications. He is also currently the chair of the GWG (Ghent Workgroup).

Color Excellence for Digital Textile Printing | X-Rite Webinar Kristen Dettoni is an accomplished textile designer living in southern New Hampshire. Since 1996, Kristen has worked for mills throughout North America, designing fabrics for automobiles, furniture, and home furnishings. During her career, she developed the first sustainable upholstery fabric for office interiors, the first sustainable upholstery fabric for automotive interiors, and was awarded a patent for automotive suspension seating. At Interface Fabrics, she was at the forefront of the sustainability movement for commercial interiors, working with recycled and renewable fibers, cleaner dyes and finishing chemicals, and always looked for recyclable solutions.

 

In 2019, Kristen founded Design Pool, the only pattern library created exclusively for interior markets. Her patterns can be found on a wide range of interior products, such as upholstery, wallpaper, bedding, pillows, privacy screens, and more. She is extremely passionate about the future of print-on-demand manufacturing and making this technology accessible to interior designers. Her versatility and devotion to all things creative make her approach to product development and design truly unique. Recently, her new Cryptology Collection was awarded a HiP Award from Interior Design Magazine and named a Metropolis Likes from Metropolis Magazine.
