Error - "READ ERROR 2": 938 - 978

If experiencing a READ ERROR 2 message, check or the following;

1. Ensure that the instrument is held flush against the sample.
2. Ensure that the sample is located on an opaque surface.  READ ERROR2 can indicate a light leak.
3. Ensure that the instrument is dry!  There could a moisture / humidity issue.  Attempt to "dry" the instrument out by placing it in an air conditioned environment and near a "warming heat" such as a computer monitor or on top of a TV set for 8 hours.
4. Do NOT use a heat gun or blow dryer, as this will cause further damage!

If the error continues, it needs factory service.
