1 - Używanie niewłaściwego standardu barw.

Łatwo jest przypadkowo wybrać niewłaściwy standard barw w oprogramowaniu. Niektóre systemy mają setki lub tysiące standardów barw. Oto kilka wskazówek:

• Upewnij się, że wybrany standard ma taką samą charakterystykę jak drukowane zadanie.
• Uporządkuj swoje standardy według klientów i uwzględnij szczegóły, takie jak podłoże, wałek rastrowy, system farb itp.
• Wprowadź standard z prawidłowymi ustawieniami przyrządu i materiałem podkładowym.
• Upewnij się, że standard barw jest na tym samym papierze, co wydruk próbny. Na przykład, nie można porównać barwy Pantone na niepowlekanym bielonym białym papierze z nakrapianą tekturą falistą KLA w barwie złamanej bieli.

2 - Używanie zbyt wielu barwników.

Partia farby, która została opracowana przy użyciu zbyt wielu barwników, może nie być w stanie osiągnąć docelowej barwy lub intensywności. Zmiany podłoża mogą mieć ogromny wpływ na to, jak barwa jest odczytywana w maszynie. Warto rozważyć normalizację używanych podłoży w przepływie pracy, podobnie jak w przypadku próbek farb na papierze. A przed sprawdzeniem barw należy sprawdzić podłoże, aby upewnić się, że mieści się ono w zakresie tolerancji przed tonowaniem farb lub uruchomieniem zadania.

4 - Pomijanie lakieru do nadruków.

Ponieważ lakier do nadruków (OPV) jest przezroczysty, często jest pomijany. Ale nie daj się zwieść. OPV może znacząco wpłynąć na zmianę barwy. Operatorzy maszyn, zwłaszcza w przypadku stosowania farb rozpuszczalnikowych i wodnych, muszą stosować dodatki, takie jak stabilizatory, glikol, alkohol, woda itp. w celu utrzymania wydajności farb. W rzeczywistości zbyt wiele dodatków może zaszkodzić farbie. Inną często spotykaną kwestią związaną z pośpiechem, gdy trzeba wydać zlecenie, jest pomijanie etapu dokładnego czyszczenia zbiorników maszyn podczas zmiany barw.

Gdy dojdzie do zanieczyszczenia barwy, jedynym sposobem na jej poprawę może być rozpoczęcie od nowa. eXact 2 oferuje narzędzie Basic Compare, które może porównać farbę w maszynie z farbą ze świeżego pojemnika w celu kontroli zanieczyszczeń.
